Police are searching for a man following an assault in the Melbourne suburb of Preston.
It is believed the 32-year-old victim was followed after getting off a tram at the intersection of Bell St and Plenty Rd about 11.22pm on Wednesday.
The victim was walking through a car park when an unknown man began yelling at him before chasing him around the car park.

The unknown man assaulted the victim knocking him unconsciousness before continuing to strike the victim.
The man then appears to taunt the victim as he lies on the ground.
Victoria Police Detective Senior Constable Matthew Coleiro said it appeared the attacker was a stranger to the victim.
"It’s a terrifying assault that’s occurred," he said. "He’s followed this victim and we don’t know why."
Investigators have released images and CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
The man police wish to speak to is perceived as being aged in his early thirties with a slim build and appears to be balding with short dark hair and a dark beard.
At the time he was wearing a t-shirt with a white motif along the front and knee length cargo shorts.
He was carrying a large backpack.
