Death — we all have to face it, but nobody wants to talk about it. Anthony Levin and Nadine J. Cohen are back to explore the unexpected, the eerie, and the deeply human sides of life’s final chapter. Grave Matters is the SBS podcast about death, dying, and the people helping us better understand what happens at the end of the road.

Last season, Anthony and Nadine explored death care, grief, and the business of dying. This season, the duo are grave-digging even deeper, aided by some of the passionate, inspiring people working in and around life’s only certainty.

Over ten episodes, they'll cover everything from the history of whole-body donation to the challenges of aged care for the LGBTI community, a monster-sized Halloween special on vampires and zombies, as well as forensic and trauma cleaning, true crime, grief and sex, and more.

What monsters do and the undead do, because of that human corporeality, is they force us to kind of have those conversations
