11 reasons we're excited for World Tapas Day

The third Thursday in June is World Tapas Day. To celebrate, pour yourself a glass of bold vino and enjoy these bite-size Spanish snacks – from croquettes and chorizo to saucy meatballs and fried custard.

Yes - it's true! Spain declared every third Thursday of June to be World Tapas Day. Let's honour these bite-size snacks by eating them all!
Made with beef, veal or even chicken mince, this Catalan dish can easily morph into a main course with the addition of some steamed potatoes and a green salad. Sold!

Sweet, salty, crisp and succulent, this recipe for cider-glazed chorizo is a sure thing. Serve it with crusty bread to mop up all those delicious juices!
