If you love Japanese food and culture then you have to meet Maro.

If you know nothing about Japanese food and culture then you have to meet Maro.

Maro is a three-year old mixed breed that is proving to be quite the culinary (and feline) sensation. This adorable and absolutely amazing chef cat is winning hearts on Instagram by combining stylish Cosplay outfits with an abundance of Japanese food and we want to know how he sits so still? "Maro loves getting dressed up and he doesn't move at all when I put the outfits on him," @rinne172 tells SBS.

Two things are getting us excited at SBS Food HQ. We want Maro's patience, and we want his sense of style!

We're looking to this izakaya pinup for a little weekend inspo. Eat, sleep, rave, repeat and here are some of his greatest hits. You're welcome!
