Take Meat-Free Monday one step further and see if you can swap out meat in all your weekly meals. The official Meat Free Week runs from 23-29 of September but with so much delicious right here, it won't be hard to work some of these recipes into your weekly rotation.

1. Roast tomato, basil and haloumi lasagne

2. Tofu, soba and greens miso soup

It’s actually outrageous how easy this one is, and you can keep most ingredients in the pantry for a five-minute dinner.

Forget the ayam, paneer soaks up so much flavor you won’t even miss the animal protein.

4. Bhutanese red rice, goji berry and hazelnut salad

Get around this filling salad that won’t go limp on the commute. It’s not very Bhutanese but a few slabs of fried haloumi on top wouldn’t hurt.

5. Bagilla with spring beans and marjoram
