SBS Food is serving up a new palate of the famous food faces you know and love, fresh and free on Channel 33. We’re excited to bring you more Australian shows featuring the likes of Poh Ling Yeow, Silvia Colloca, and Adam Liaw, as well as big international names, including Rick Stein, Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain.

For Poh Ling Yeow, cooking is all about nurturing and sharing – so lucky for us, we’re being invited into her kitchen. Join her as she defines her unique cooking style with friends, including Thai expert David Thompson and renowned Australian chef Neil Perry, exchanging techniques and recipes along the way. Made in Italy with Silvia Colloca

Double episodes Saturdays at 6.30pm

In this sumptuous and picturesque series, Silvia Colloca journeys back to her Italian homeland to introduce her family and present her love of healthy, hearty Italian fare. Exploring everywhere from the Adriatic Coastline to Abruzzo, you’ll soon be dolloping extra virgin olive oil and mascarpone on all your dishes.

Food Safari

Double episodes Sundays at 9.30pm

Explore Australia’s rich and diverse food culture with veteran host Maeve O’Meara, as she takes you into the country’s best kitchens for a full flavour lowdown. Expand your palate and meet the vibrant communities behind your favourite dishes – you’ll be going “mmm” along the way! Find out what cuisines and recipes Maeve is diving into here.

Nigella Express

Double episodes Fridays at 8.30pm

Nigella Lawson, domestic goddess, needs no introduction. For all your delicious, easy and accessible food needs, she’s got you covered. With recipes designed for minimal effort and fantastic results, using pantry staples you’ll soon be making everything from chocolate mousse to crispy seafood with ease.

Essence of India

Double episodes Mondays at 8.30pm

Samira Nanda, a New York City chef and journalist, goes back to her Indian roots to discover the authentic tastes of its cuisine. Travelling through Delhi in her 'Essence of India' auto rickshaw, Samira gains access to the country's most exclusive restaurant kitchens. She demystifies some of India's most popular curries, explores the origin of vegetarian food, delves into decadent desserts and gets a crash course on tandoori cooking – all while taking you along for the ride.

The Travelling Chef

Double episodes Saturdays at 7.30pm

Get ready to tuck in as Kiwi chef Brett McGregor travels the world in search of new flavours and experiences. Each location brings people to meet, treasured recipes to learn and exciting ingredients to taste. With expert local knowledge, discover how to make the tastiest elements of special dishes from Thailand, Singapore and more. Don’t worry – you’ll have no difficulty trying out these recipes at home, as Brett suggests more readily available alternative ingredients.
