Australian politicians and Jewish community leaders greeted the new, very diverse Israeli coalition government and reflected on the legacy of the departing, longest serving Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his friendship and cooperation with Australia. Australian Parliamentarians from all sides of politics and Jewish Holocaust survivors amongst others, came together in the NSW State Parliament to launch the Stop Racism Now campaign, an initiative of the B’nai B’rith’s Moving Forward Together Association. A leading Israeli cyber security education provider, HackerU, will help develop Australia’s first nationally accredited Certificate IV in offensive cyber security and specialised related areas, in which Australia currently lags behind. 38 Jewish Australians were among the Australians honoured in this year’s Queens Birthday Honours list.
