Anzac Day (April 25): This is a day of national remembrance for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who landed at Gallipoli in 1915, serving as a tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and "mateship" of all who have served in military operations.
Importance to Filipino-Australians: For this community, these dates represent a bridge between two identities, as both honor the shared values of heroism and the heavy price paid for the freedoms enjoyed in both homelands.
