When South Australian Annette Siviour travelled to Germany recently, she had no idea that she would go on a journey that would take her back more than 200 years along her own family tree.
As an Australian with German roots, there was a lot to learn about her ancestors that left Germany more than 150 years ago. However, the support she received from locals still amazes her and thanks to a passionate genealogist, she is now much closer to finding out the whole truth about her family.
