Thousands of people protested in Vienna on Thursday evening against the current political crisis in Austria. Many citizens fear that the next government will rebuild the country following the example of Hungary's Prime Minister Orban. Various posters warned of hate speech, social cuts and setbacks in environmental protection. With its history, Austria “could not afford a far-right chancellor,” emphasized several speakers.
