New Year's Resolutions: Why losing weight is often just wishful thinking

Many people start the new year with good intentions and it is not uncommon to make a new year's resolution to lose a few kilos. According to an Australian doctor, however, instead, many adults slowly but steadily gain weight: at least half a kilogram per year. We explain the reasons for this and what can help to reach that goal.
