"Your application to travel is not authorised"

For the last two months, German-Australian musician Dyko has been trying to obtain a travel permit to join his German partner Yasemine who works as a flight attendant with Lufthansa in Frankfurt. Dyko has some vital business to attend to and their children Kaan (13) and Iggy (20) are missing their mother. So why has the Australian Border Force rejected a total of three applications from the family who is desperate to be re-united in Germany?
