Victorian teachers and students return for Term Two this week, but staffrooms and classrooms will be empty at many schools. Educators and students are working from home, where possible.

Each state in Australia now, has its own approach to schooling.

Victorian students are returning to school, but most will learn remotely.

On April 20th, Queensland and the Northern Territory  follow.

Most Queensland students will be online, but Territory students are expected to attend classes, unless they have alternative arrangements.

A week later, New South Wales students start Term Two but are encouraged to learn from home.

South Australia schools also re-open, with parents given the choice on whether to keep students at home.

In Western Australia, the ACT and Tasmania, pupils return a day later and are encouraged to stay home.

There are concerns the move to remote learning has increased burdens on many parents.
