Recipe: Noni Sachdeva
Ingredients
- 500gm goat (cut into curry pieces)
- 5-6 tbl oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbl ginger garlic paste
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 green cardamom
- 2 black cardamom
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 cloves
- 1 ½ cups tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbl dry fenugreek leaves
- 1 tbl chilli powder
- ½ tbl turmeric powder
- 1 tbl garam masala
- 1 tbl cumin powder
- Water
- Coriander for garnishing
Method
- In a pressure cooker add oil, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, onion.
- Cook this for about 5 mins then add tomato puree, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt.
- Cook this for 5 min then add goat and garam masala powder, dry fenugreek leaves.
- Cook this for about 10-15 min.
- Add water, mix and presser cook on medium flame for about 15-20 mins or till the goat meat is cooked.
- Garnish with coriander.
