Ingredients

For marination

  • 1 kg Chicken Drumettes
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

For batter

  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ½ cup cornflour
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 3 tbsp red chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

Method

  • In a bowl add the chicken, ginger garlic paste, crushed black pepper, salt and soy sauce.
  • Mix everything and let it marinate for atleast 30 mins.
  • Now in another bowl add plain four, cornflour, crushed black pepper, red chilli paste, finely chopped ginger and garlic, water.
  • Mix it into a semi thick batter.
  • Add chicken and mix.
  • Heat some oil for deep-frying.
  • Fry the chicken.
  • Serve it hot with some schezwan sauce.
