Recipe: Noni Sachdeva
Ingredients
- 1kg boneless skinless Chicken thigh - cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp Pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp Ajinomoto (optional)
- 1 Egg
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- 2tbsp oil
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 4-5 Curry Leaves
- 1 tbsp fresh Garlic-chopped
- ½ tbsp fresh Ginger-chopped
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- 2-3 fresh Green Chilli
- 2tbsp chilli garlic paste
- ½ cup Coriander leaves-chopped
- 2-3 drops red colour (Optional)
- Oil to fry the chicken
Method
- Take a bowl, add chicken.
- Add salt, ajinomoto, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, cornflour and egg.
- Mix everything and marinate for about 1 hour.
- Heat the oil in a pan to deep fry the chicken.
- Once all the chicken is fried, keep it aside to stir-fry.
- To stir-fry, take a pan, add oil, add cumin, add chopped fresh ginger, fresh garlic.
- And cook for about a min.
- Add chopped green chilli, curry leaves, pepper powder, chilli garlic paste, chilli powder, red food colour and mix.
- Also add about 2-3tbsp of water.
- Let it come to a boil.
- Now add the chicken, mix and coat all the chicken with the sauce.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
