Make Paneer and Mushroom Masala

Paneer Mushroom Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 cup paneer (cubed)
  • 1 cup mushroom (thick cut)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup green capsicum
  • water as needed
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Method

  • In a pan add oil, pan fry the paneer on both sides and set aside.
  • Now in the same pan add oil, cumin seeds, onion and salt.
  • Cook the onions till they turn translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, tomato paste and water (if needed).
  • Cook this till the gravy is cooked.
  • Now add capsicum, mushroom and cook till the veggies are cooked.
  • Add paneer and mix gently and cook for about 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve.
