Ingredients
- 500 grams Paneer (cut into pieces)
- 1 tbsp of cornflour
- 2 tbsp of plain four
- 3 tbsp water
- ½ tsp of ginger garlic paste
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ tsp of chilli powder
- Oil for frying
For stir-fry
- ½ cup sliced onion
- ½ sliced green caps
- 3-4 sliced green chilli
- ¼ cup chopped spring onion greens
- ¼ cup chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- ½ tbsp chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2-3 tbsp of water
- 1 tbsp cornflour + 1tbsp water mixture
Method
- Take a bowl, add cornflour, plain flour, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, salt, chilli powder and small amount of water and mix.
- Add paneer, mix and ensure each piece of paneer is coated.
- Heat oil and fry paneer. Keep aside for stir-frying.
- Take a wok, add oil, ginger garlic and chilli.
- Cook for ½ min.
- Add onion, green capsicum, cook for about 1-2 mins.
- Add chilli sauce, soy sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, chilli powder and some water.
- Mix and let sauce come to a boil.
- Add cornflour and water mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Add fried paneer and mix.
- Garnish with spring onion greens and coriander.
