Indo-Fijian author Edward Narain and Associate Professor Tarryn Phillips of La Trobe University have co-authored 'Sugar,' an ethnographic novel exploring the history of India's indentured workers in Fiji and the causes behind Fiji's high diabetes rates and social inequity.
