Recipe: Noni Sachdeva
Ingredients
For marination
- 1 kg Chicken Drumettes
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
For batter
- ½ cup plain flour
- ½ cup cornflour
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 3 tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- Water as required
- Oil for frying
- Chopped coriander for garnishing
Method
- In a bowl add the chicken, ginger garlic paste, crushed black pepper, salt and soy sauce.
- Mix everything and let it marinate for atleast 30 mins.
- Now in another bowl add plain four, cornflour, crushed black pepper, red chilli paste, finely chopped ginger and garlic, water.
- Mix it into a semi thick batter.
- Add chicken and mix.
- Heat some oil for deep-frying.
- Fry the chicken.
- Serve it hot with some schezwan sauce.
