Arkira Le said that she has engaged in photography for the last 4 years. She has been taking photos as her hobbies and as professional photographer, while still teaching at university.
She regards this skills as hobby and also other source of income. But the main point is that she also has other mission, that is to showcase how Hmong has changed during the last four decades.
Le is lucky to find some Hmong hair dresser and make up artist as well as some Hmong and other Australian community members who are willing to be her model so she can do photo-shoot in 2018 for her art display 2019 and for 2020 calendar.
She said that her art exhibition will be different from Anthony Vue's one which will not focus on history, politics or culture but will mainly look into modern arts and see the change in Hmong communities as Hmong married other races.

She says, Hmong parents rather want their children to have a good education and become lawyer, doctors or accountant, but if any Hmong youth who are into art, give it a go and do their best and follow their hearts.
