With an economic growth of at least 6 percent per year, Indonesia will be in the sixth position of the world economy by 2030. Will it be achieved?


Yongky Susilo, an Indonesian retail marketing expert, is one of the speakers in a discussion entitled 'The 20th anniversary of the Reformation of Indonesia' from an art and economic perspective held by the non-profit community of NKRI-OZ at the Newtown Neighborhood Center on 10 June. Yongky, who also serves as the Executive Director of The Nielsen Indonesia, presents a presentation entitled Indonesia Economic and Business Outlook 2018 - In pursuit of consumption recovery, ensuring that the business and economic situation in Indonesia is getting better and optimistic based on the existing data.

Economicwise, is it possible that Indonesia will face the same crisis as 1998? The graduate of the California State University says that some of the indicators, include inflation, non-performing loans and ratio of foreign debt to Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves, are much better than 20 years ago.
