With the Italian ambassador in Canberra, Francesca Tardioli, and the senator elected in the overseas constituency, Francesco Giacobbe, we talked about how institutions and authorities are taking action to assist Italians who are trying to return to their country of origin in the difficult conditions dictated by the coronavirus emergency.

Ambassador Tardioli and Senator Giacobbe illustrated how to contact directly the diplomatic seats and answered questions from our listeners during our regular talkback.

During the talk back we broadcasted an extract of the testimony of Eleonora Mollica, who collaborates with the Facebook group "Gruppo di emergenza Coronavirus - Italiani in Australia e Nuova Zelanda", recorded on 26/03/2020. Some details of her story, such as the cost of flights to Italy in particular, at the time of the broadcast were not current with the situation, that for her as for many Italians in Australia remains fluid.
