COVID-19 could cause a new type of pollution

Soko beach in Hong Kong has been polluted by thousands of COVID-19 protective masks.


Dr. Alessandro Ossola, research coordinator at the Smart Green Cities center of Macquarie University, warns that, while it is essential to protect ourselves, it is vital we do the same with the envirnment.

People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others and gatherings are limited to two people unless you are with your family or household.
