Filmmaker Lisa Camillo talks about her documentary "Balentes" looking at military shooting ranges in Sardinia and their impact on the local population.


Set in Australia and the Italian island of Sardinia, "Balentes" is a feature documentary/part exposé seeking accountability for the exploitation of Sardinia’s resources and discussing secret military incursions and the destruction and suffering caused to a small community.



Sardinian-Australian anthropologist Lisa Camillo returns home to discover the island of her childhood has been torn apart by war games.
