Salvatore Rossano is the organiser of the first Taranta Festival, which will bring world-famous band Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino to Melbourne.

The first edition of the Taranta Festival is set to hit Melbourne from the 13th to the 17th of March, including conferences, workshops and concerts with loads of traditional Southern Italian and Mediterranean food to enjoy with it.

As part of program, the internationally acclaimed Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino will perform for the first time in Melbourne on Friday March 15 at the Thornbury Theatre.

The band from Puglia (Apulia) was declared “Best Group in the World” at the Songlines Awards 2018.
