The Committee of Italian Expatriates in Canberra has published a book about the immigration stories of 34 Italians who live in the ACT.
The book's author is Dr Luigi Catizone, who recently migrated to Australia to join his daughter and grandchildren.
He says that the book outlines the problems many young Italians faced once they arrived in Australia after WWII, which were in some cases motivated by the racism they encountered.
