Every fortnight we meet someone who has studied the Italian language, and this time we catch up with Elizabeth Calder: Australian and without any Italian background, Lizzie has encountered our language first through an Italian friend, and later thanks to the help and encouragement of some excellent teachers. During some student exchange programs in Italy, she has literally fallen head over heels with our country and culture.
