Virus quarantine ends for some

While the Australians on Christmas Island have returned home safely, today a Quantas flight will recover the 200 Australians in quarantine aboard the cruise ship off the coast of Japan.


In China 1,886 new cases and 98 more deaths have been recorded - raising the total to over 2,000 and cases over 74,000. Thousands of sick people continue to seek treatment in Wuhan -the centre of the outbreak - daily.

Outside China, there have been 827 cases of the disease, and 5 deaths - half of which from the Diamond Princess Cruise.
