Hondarake, a second-hand Japanese bookshop in Sydney housing between 50,000 and 60,000 books, marked its 21st anniversary this January. We spoke to the shop's owner, Tomoko Wright, about her monthly book club held in-store for around ten years, including during the pandemic. We also spoke to participants at the recent club session in August.
