Michael Kocken speaking Korean fluently has been working in the Trade and Investment sectors between Australia and Korea since 2011. Michael who worked 4 years in Seoul has continued his career in the business sectors connecting both countries after he returned to his homeland Australia in 2013.

In this months podcast Michael and Leah take a look at the different aspects of Australian and Korean dining etiquette and Michael explains why he once washed his hands at the table in Korea.

Dining etiquette is often the area where many cultures experience differences. Michael and Leah talk about some unique aspects of Korean dining and share some embarassing moments - like when Michael once washed his hands in a Kimchi dish!
