In a letter to the Australian Government, the Lobby highlighted a deadly crackdown in Iran, where thousands of civilians have died amid nationwide protests. Meanwhile, in northern Syria, intensified fighting around Kobani has forced many families to flee, as the city and surrounding areas face a growing humanitarian crisis. Kurdish Lobby Australia is calling on the Australian Government to take urgent action to address these interconnected humanitarian and security threats.
