Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane's World Cup journey uncertain following court acquittal

Sandeep Lamichhane's visa application to the United States was rejected, leaving uncertainty regarding his participation in the June ICC Men's T-20 World Cup. While the Cricket Association of Nepal says it is trying to include Lamichhane in the national competing squad, women rights activists have expressed doubts about the Patan High Court's acquittal decision.
