As the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic spreads throughout the world, Nepali authorities have made decisions, including to bar people from entering its border from CoVID-19 affected countries, postponing the grade 10 SEE examinations and closing public places such as theaters. It is estimated that Coronavirus pandemic is also negatively impacting Nepal's economy, despite any transmission of Coronavirus in Nepal so far. Sewa Bhattarai spoke to Siddha Raj Bhatta, an economist at the Research Department of Nepal Rastra Bank, on the pandemic's current and potential impact on Nepal's economy.
