COVID-19: Nepalis in Tasmania feel the heat of pandemic as jobs dry up

Finding a job in Tasmania has been difficult for young people in recent years, and the pandemic has made that task even harder. Analysis of recent Australia Bureau of Statistics data shows young people aged between 15 and 24 made up more than 38 per cent of the jobs lost in Tasmania, despite that age group only making up 15 per cent of the state’s population.
