A new Federal Government scheme would allow domestic violence victims to withdraw a portion of their superannuation. The policy is described by the government as a compassionate measure to respond to family and domestic violence. Under the scheme domestic violence survivors could take up to $10,000 from their super to fund their own crisis response - but critics say it could leave already vulnerable women worse off.
