Nepali community members attending an event in Sydney have shared the pain of losing loved ones who remain missing after the floods along the Nepal-Tibet border, saying they no longer hold hope that they will return safely. The event was held in Hurstville, south Sydney, on 3 September, jointly organised by the Australian Nepali Association and Georges River Council, to honour those who lost their lives and those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. Attendees spoke to SBS Nepali about the impact of the floods and efforts underway in Australia to support those affected.
