France’s ambassador to Australia has accused the federal government of being ‘childish’ for not consulting with Paris before terminating a 90-billion dollar submarine deal. Jean-Pierre Thebault will be sent back to Canberra - and says he’s been given a direct mission from his government: to re-evaluate the future relationship of the two nations.
