Women-led Nepali organisation Didi Bahini Samaj Victoria has been conducting free breast cancer screening programs for women aged 50 to 74 years old, in co-operation with BreastScreen Victoria. Participating women, most of them visiting Australia from Nepal, believe in the need for more awareness of breast cancer among Nepali-language speakers.
