Nepali stand-up comedian Lekhamani Trital, widely recognised among younger audiences, is a Guinness World Record holder for performing stand-up comedy at the highest altitude. Now based in Australia, Trital spoke with SBS Nepali about his journey from Nepal’s comedy scene to Australian student life. In this conversation, he shares thoughts on comedy trends, the debate around vulgarity in humour, digital content, and Gen Z, his move to Australia, and personal experiences, from childhood memories to the growing influence of AI.
