Stand up comedy has been a significant part of entertainment in Nepal, but it was not something that happens every day. But the face of stand up comedy is changing as more youths are attracted to the idea of it.


Gaijatra was the only festival giving liberty to comedians to speak about social and political issues through satire.

But now with social media creating platforms for variety of talents, Nepali youths are also opening up about their aptitudes, including comedy.
