Lingam K. is a research and lens-based artist whose projects primarily focus on scientific observations. The PhD student at RMIT University in Melbourne has been working on an extensive project visualising glacial meltdown in Nepal’s Himalayan region, particularly in the Khumbu area. His recent exhibition in Kathmandu, titled “Sambandh”, featured large images of glacial lakes that he had photographed during his most recent visit to the region. Our Nepal correspondent, Girish Subedi, spoke to Lingam about his findings.
