A conversation with Lidia Thorpe as Victoria Parliament passes Treaty legislation

In Victoria The Statewide Treaty Bill, supported by Labor, the Greens and crossbench MPs, passed the upper house last Thursday, paving the way for Treaty to commence before year’s end.

Victoria has made history as the first state or territory in Australia to pass legislation paving the way for a Treaty with First Peoples.
