Recognised as a passionate youth advocate, mentor and the 2025 Northern Territory Young Achiever, Budat Maymuru joined the 'She Power Forum' on day one at the Garma Festival.
Speaking with NITV's Breanna Holden, Budat reflects on what being part of the forum meant to her, the importance of leading within her community and how culture continues to shape the next generation.
She Power brings together young Aboriginal women from across the Northern Territory to explore leadership, identity and the strength found in culture, family and community, reflecting this year's Garma theme and the shared responsibility of supporting future leaders.
