Siena Stubbs is a prominent young Yolŋu leader, artist, filmaker and Garma youth forum participant and speaks with NITV's Breanna Holden about her short film 'Maŋutji (Catching Eyes)', which recently screened at the Sydney Film Festival before being showcased at the Garma Festival.
Set in the Aboriginal community of Yirrkala in Arnhem Land, the coming of age love story follows two teenagers as they navigate their growing feelings for one another while respecting cultural boundaries and kinship obligations.
