SGPC president and advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said in an official statement that Sikhism has its original scripts and "no one can be allowed to change it". He stated that in their efforts to create content, AI tools are distorting the original script and its meaning.

Globally respected educator, activist, writer, and thinker — Innovation Director and Senior Fellow at the Sikh Research Institute (SikhRI) — Harinder Singh told SBS Punjabi earlier that users should be aware that social media organisations are also "businesses".
He also said these businesses should be run with a sense of social responsibility.
