He also emphasised the importance of developing new AI-related skills to stay relevant in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Warning about the growing threat of AI-powered voice cloning, deepfake videos and online scams, Mr Arora advised migrant families and older Australians to always verify suspicious calls and messages through official channels, establish a secret family code word, and never share personal information or send money under pressure or in response to urgent requests. He also explained why it is important to use AI as a tool without losing our critical thinking, and how people can become "future-ready" in the age of artificial intelligence.
