Punjabi language schools welcome the federal move to boost funding for community language programs

The community language school grants program will increase funding for more than 580 schools across Australia, delivering an additional $13 million over four years. The Albanese government’s decision has been warmly welcomed by organisations running Punjabi community schools, who say the support will strengthen language retention for the next generation.
