“If you live a disciplined life and are punctual, you can achieve anything,” says Indian-origin international wrestler Shanky Singh. Standing at 7 feet tall, Singh began his career as an accountant before turning to wrestling, driven by a dream to build a home for his parents. During a visit to Melbourne for a wrestling match, Singh spoke to SBS Punjabi about overcoming body image struggles, debunking common myths around wrestling, and his journey from accountancy to modelling — and eventually being shortlisted for WWE.
