Mr Joiya rues that Punjabi is dying in Pakistan because it's no longer the lingua franca of every Punjabi family in the country.


This week, our Pakistan correspondent interviews Shahzad Joiya, who is a Punjabi poet and also teaches the language while pursuing his Ph.D in it simultaneously.
